| At first glance Walter
probably comes off as submissive and boring, blending in with the
background. As is the case with most first impressions, that's a very
inaccurate assumption to make. There's much more to Walter Kum Dorne
than just the typical old 'Alfred' type butler. For one thing, he fights like a crazy mofo. "Looks as though it will not happen as it would when I was younger." Given the speed and skill he displays at this point in the series (episode 6), one has to wonder just what he was like in his earlier years. His weapon is extremely thin steel wire that, when manipulated to a very high speed, cuts though almost anything. "Do you want to be on active duty again?" asks Integral in one of the episodes. Walter once held an active role in the Royal Protestant Organization and fought alongside Alucard against the Nazis in 1944 to take out a company manufacturing fake vampires (freaks).
